2400 Fort Street has been used as an address for three separate buildings on the northwest corner of Fort Street and Champaign Road in Lincoln Park, Michigan in various points in time. The current building with this address is currently the location of CVS Pharmacy 8131.

In 1918, a large brick schoolhouse was constructed on the site of the Joseph Brondie family farm, named the Goodell Elementary School. The school closed in 1971 and was demolished in 1974.[1] The property was vacant from then until 1977.
In mid-to-late 1977, The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company built A&P supermarket #501 on the Goodell School site, replacing a smaller store at 2035 McKinley Street. A&P #501 was rebranded as Farmer Jack #501 on December 5, 1993, following a remodeling project, as A&P was in the process of rebranding all of their A&P-branded stores in the state of Michigan into the Farmer Jack brand.[2] When Farmer Jack #501 was inspected sometime between January 1, 1996, and June 15, 1998, it received mainly negative rankings.[3]
Farmer Jack #501 closed in mid-February 2004 along with 12 other area locations.[4][5] This store, along with nine other previously shuttered locations, reopened as Food Basics store #552 on March 30, 2004.[6]
Food Basics #552 lasted in this location for barely more than a year, and was shuttered on June 26, 2005.[7] It was quickly replaced by Food Mart, a Spartan Stores-supplied store. The property was sold to CVS on March 2, 2007, and it is assumed that Food Mart immediately closed as a result of this transaction. A demolition permit was issued three days later on March 5, and demolition took place between March 29 and April 13.
CVS Pharmacy 8131 was built on the property in the summer of 2007. When it opened later that year, it consolidated two other CVS drugstores in the city of Lincoln Park--the former CVS Pharmacy 8131 at 1716 Fort Street and CVS Pharmacy 8018 in the Lincoln Park Plaza.
