Kmart #4101 was a Kmart discount department store located at 7325 West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood, Colorado. The store opened October 28, 1965[1] and closed 1994.[2] Bob Anderson, who managed the store's menswear department in the 1960s, claimed to have created the idea for Kmart's iconic blue-light special while working there, which subsequently spread throughout the chain.[3]
