Kmart #4389 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 1801 South 10th Street in McAllen, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 22, 1971,[2] was expanded and remodeled from a pre-1972 full-size model Kmart on November 14, 1991,[3] and converted to Big Kmart in 1999.[4] The store closed on April 11, 2020,[5] making it the last Kmart in Texas to close.
