'''Kmart #7248''' was a [[Kmart]] [[discount department store]] located at [[5701 Broadway Boulevard (Garland, Texas)|5701 Broadway Boulevard]] in [[Garland, Texas|Garland]], [[Texas]]. The store opened on March 8, 1979 as one of 15 stores to open that day for a total of 1,511 Kmart's overall. It was also tied with four other Texas stores for the 97th Kmart in Texas. TheBetween 1989 and 1995, the store would later be expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart, occupying the former auto center area. By the end of 1998, the store would be converted to Big Kmart.
