Sears 1037
Sears #1037 was a Sears department store located at 5334 Ross Avenue in Dallas, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 4, 1947, replacing locations at 3428 Oak Lawn Avenue and 1919 Greenville Avenue.[2] In 1962, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on November 29.[3] The store closed on March 27, 1993,[4] and was torn down in 1995 for Ross Henderson Shopping Center. The six medallions on the side of the building were salvaged and reused for the shopping center sign.
