For its entire length within Bloomfield Township, Telegraph Road carries United States Highway 24. Between West Hickory Grove Road and West Long Lake Road, Telegraph Road is equivalent to 1000 in Bloomfield Township's addressing system; that is, buildings along cross streets immediately west of Telegraph have street addresses beginning with 1000, while buildings immediately east of it have addresses beginning with 900.
