Walmart Discount Store #470 was a Walmart discount department store located at Spice Plaza, 1821 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 14, 1994 replacing a previous location on Ayers Street,[2] and closed on August 27, 1996 when it was converted to Walmart Supercenter 470.

The original Walmart Discount Store #470 was a Walmart discount department store located at 4525 Ayers Street in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 5, 1982,[3] and closed on September 13, 1994 when it relocated to Spice Plaza.
