Walmart Discount Store #490 was a Walmart discount department store located at Flour Bluff Shopping Center, 10241 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on March 29, 1983,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on April 5.[3] The store closed on or around October 25, 2011, when it was replaced by Walmart Supercenter 490.[4]
