5326 Durand Avenue is a commercial building near Durand Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue in Racine, Wisconsin, on an outparcel of the Regency Mall development. Built in 1987 for a Tire America tire store,[1][2] the building currently houses The Woof dog daycare and boarding center.
Tire America was acquired by Sears and converted into a National Tire and Battery store in August 1997.[3]
In November 2008, a location of the Central Bark Doggy Day Care chain opened in the building.[4] By June 2014, when the facility was used to house dozens of animals confiscated from a Caledonia animal shelter, Central Bark had closed.[5]
The Woof dog daycare and boarding center opened in the building in November 2016.[6][7]
The property was one of the few Regency Mall outparcels that was included in CBL & Associates's initial sale of the mall to Hull Property Group in December 2016.[8]
