Frontier Mall underwent a renovation in 1995 that drastically changed the appearance of the mall nearer to what it looks like today.<ref name=":0" /> The renovation included work to make the entrances more visible from the outside, provide more natural light during the daylight hours with redesigned skylights, and replace the brown floor tile with tile made up of a mixture of five colors.
