Kmart #7309 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 4520 West 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 30, 1980.[2] Between 1989 and 1995, the store would be remodeled and expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart, and would later be converted to Big Kmart. In 2002, the store would have self-checkouts installed.[3] The store ultimately closed on January 28, 2018, making it the last Big Kmart-branded store in Texas to close.[4][5]
