Kmart #7598 was a Super Kmart Center discount department store located at 3121 Airport Way in Fairbanks, Alaska. The store opened on October 15, 1993, followed by a formal grand opening ceremony on October 21.[1] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart, with a grand reopening ceremony on June 11.[2] In 2001, the store would be converted to Super Kmart, with a grand reopening ceremony on October 20.[3] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[4]
