Kroger #776, also known as Kroger Warren, is a Kroger Marketplace supermarket located at 31200 Schoenherr Road in Warren, Michigan.[1] Development of the store, located at the site of the former Kmart #4204 building and replacing a former Kroger store one mile to the north at 13700 14 Mile Road, began in 2016.[2] Initially planned to be 128,000-square-foot (11,900 m2), which would have made it the largest Michigan Division store, in 2018, it was downsized to 100,000-square-foot (9,300 m2).[3] Kroger moved into the new 103,000-square-foot (9,600 m2) location, built at the cost of $24 million, on October 23, 2019, featuring meat, seafood, deli and bakery departments laied out in an island style at the center of the store, a first for the division.[4][5]
