A private house at Saavedra 342, Lautaro Former home of the poet Jorge Teillier.

The plenary of the National Monuments Council (CMN) unanimously agreed to approve the request for the declaration as a national monument, in the category of Historic Monument, of the house that during his childhood and youth housed the poet, historian and intellectual of the so-called literary generation of the '50s Jorge Teillier Sandoval. The request had been formulated by Congressman Guillermo Teillier, who accompanied letters of support from several members of the family.[1]
