Sears #1097 was a Sears department store located at 611 West Jefferson Avenue in Dallas, Texas.[1] The store opened on February 12, 1948, replacing a location at Republic National Life Insurance Building.[2] In 1951, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on December 3.[3] The store closed around September 1975, when it was replaced by Sears 1227.[4]
