Sears #2007 was a Sears department store located at Sears Center, 155 Sayles Boulevard in Abilene, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 18, 1957 replacing a previous location on Pine Street,[2] and closed on or around June 30, 1979 when it was replaced by Sears 1307.[3]

The original Sears #2007 was a Sears department store located at 358 Pine Street in Abilene, Texas.[4] The store opened on September 17, 1936, replacing a previous location on the same block.[5] In 1950, the store would be remodeled and expanded, with a grand reopening ceremony on April 27.[6] The store closed on September 7, 1957, when it relocated to Sears Center.[7]
