Sears #2117 was a Sears department store located at 916 North Piedras Street in El Paso, Texas.[1] The store opened on August 28, 1947 replacing a location at 209 North Stanton Street,[2] and was built on the site of Masonic Hospital.[3] In 1951, the store would be expanded, with a grand reopening ceremony on November 1.[4] In 1965, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on November 11.[5] The store closed on February 20, 1982, when it was replaced by Sears 1317.[6]
