Sears #2387 was a Sears department store located at Denton Center, 910 West University Drive in Denton, Texas.[1] The store opened on February 14, 1968 replacing a previous location on Hickory Street,[2] and closed on July 19, 1980 when it was replaced by Sears 2587.[3]

The original Sears #2387 was a Sears department store located at 230 West Hickory Street in Denton, Texas.[4] The store opened on August 14, 1941.[5] In 1946, the store would be expanded, with a grand reopening ceremony on July 18.[6] In 1957, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on April 25.[7] The store closed on February 8, 1968 when it relocated to Denton Center,[8] and was torn down by 1981 for a parking lot.
