Venture #17, also known as Matteson, was a Venture discount department store located at 21000 South Cicero Avenue in Matteson, Illinois.[1] The store opened on July 23, 1976,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on July 25.[3] In 1993, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on March 12.[4] The store closed on July 15, 1998.[5]
