Venture #2, also known as Fairview Heights, was a Venture discount department store located at 6525 North Illinois Street in Fairview Heights, Illinois.[1] The store opened on March 24, 1970,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on March 30.[3] In 1982, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on August 12.[4] The store closed on July 15, 1998.[5]
