Biddle Avenue is a major north-south commercial street in Wyandotte, Michigan, which is a continuation of West Jefferson Avenue in the neighboring municipalities of Ecorse and Riverview. It is the primary thoroughfare in downtown Wyandotte, and runs parallel with the bank of the Detroit River, which is a block or two blocks away for most of the street's length. The Arthur W. Edwards Memorial Bridge, which connects Biddle Avenue in Wyandotte with West Jefferson Avenue in Ecorse, is the last crossing over the Ecorse River before it enters the Detroit River.
History[edit | edit source]
