A Kmart discount department store store was located at Binghamton Plaza, 33 West State Street in Binghamton, New York. The store opened 29-Jul-76 and closed 27-Mar-80. Original grand opening sale July 29, 1976; Kmart acquired the local Grand Way chain in 1979 and converted all three of its locations to Kmarts; the store moved within the strip mall to this new location and reopened March 27, 1980; new store is #3521, old store may also be #3521[1]
