Kmart 3475
Kmart #3475 was a Kmart discount department store located at Wendland Plaza, 1101 South Fort Hood Street in Killeen, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 9, 1978 as one of 11 stores to open that day for a total of 1,506 Kmarts overall, and was tied with Kmart 9215 for the 85th Kmart in Texas.[2] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart, with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 13.[3] The store ultimately closed on March 26, 2017, making it the last Kmart in Central Texas to close.[4][5]
