Kmart #3484 was a Kmart discount department store located at 201 Crossings Mall Road in The Crossings mall in Elkview, West Virginia. The store opened on November 16, 1989. It was temporarily closed due to flood damage in June 2016 and reopened in September 2017, before permanently closing in December 2019.[1]

Little Sandy Creek flooded in June 2016, destroying the culvert which provided access to the Crossings Mall center, and forcing the Kmart to close. When the access road was not repaired for several months, some employees at the Kmart were reassigned to other stores in the area, while others were laid off in February 2017. After a new bridge was constructed in July 2017, the store reopened in September.[2] In August 2018, a former employee who was laid off from the Kmart after the flood sued the shopping center's owners for failing to repair the damage in a timely manner.[3] The store permanently closed in December 2019.[2]
