Kmart #3521 was a Kmart discount department store located at Binghamton Plaza, 33 West State Street in Binghamton, New York. The store opened March 27, 1980 and closed December 2016.[1] Original grand opening sale July 29, 1976; Kmart acquired the local Grand Way chain in 1979 and converted all three of its locations to Kmarts; the store moved within the strip mall to this new location and reopened March 27, 1980[2]
