Kmart #4024 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 1402 Spencer Highway in South Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 8, 1962 as one of the first three Kmarts in Texas.[2] In 1992, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on May 31.[3] The store closed on or around May 3, 1995, when it was replaced by Kmart 7751.[4]
