Kmart #4024 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 1402 Spencer Highway in South Houston, Texas. The store opened on November 8, 1962 as one of the first three Kmart's in Texas.[1] In 1992, the store would be remodeled with a grand re-opening ceremony on May 31.[2] The store closed on or around May 3, 1995 when it was replaced by Kmart 7751.[3][4]
