Kmart #4302 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 6327 Stewart Road in Galveston, Texas. The store opened on July 17, 1969[1] as the 295th Kmart in just seven years. In 1993, the store was expanded from a pre-1972 full-size model, with the renovations completed on July 2 of that year.[2] It was converted to Big Kmart in 1997, with a grand re-opening on November 14 of that year.[3] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[4][5]
