Kmart #4388 was a Kmart discount department store located at 8801 Research Boulevard in Austin, Texas.[1] The store opened on September 30, 1971.[2] In 1985, the store would be remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on October 16.[3] The store closed on or around March 7, 1990, when it was replaced by Kmart 3771.[4]
