Kmart #4460 was a Kmart discount department store located at 688 Hogan Road in Bangor, Maine. The store opened March 16, 1972 and closed March 2017.[1]

A Kmart on Hogan Road got a construction permit in 1970.[2]

A 92-acre field was sold for $250,000 to build the Kmart.[3] A sewer line to serve the Kmart was voted on by Bangor City Council in June of 1971.[4]

By July of 1971, the steel framework at the Kmart was already in place.[5]
