Kmart #7012 was a Kmart discount department store located at K mart Shopping Center, 1033 Dixie Drive in Clute, Texas.[1] The store opened on August 16, 1973.[2] It was one of five stores to open that day for a total of 616 Kmarts overall,[3] and the 45th Kmart in Texas. The store ultimately closed on June 3, 1989 when it was replaced by Kmart 3732, making it one of the first two Kmarts in Texas to be replaced by a newer store.[4][5]
