Kmart #7056 was a Kmart discount department store located at 1100 McCann Road in Longview, Texas. The store opened on March 3, 1976, as the 54th Kmart in Texas, and one of two stores to open that day for a total of 938 Kmart's overall.[1] In 1992, the store would be expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart and remodeled, with a grand re-opening ceremony on November 6 of that year.[2] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 13 of that year.[3] The store ultimately closed on March 20, 2016.[4][5]
