Kmart #7056 was a Kmart discount department store located at 1100 McCann Road in Longview, Texas.[1] The store opened on March 3, 1976 as the 54th Kmart in Texas, and one of two stores to open that day for a total of 938 Kmarts overall.[2] In 1992, the store would be expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart and remodeled, with a grand re-opening ceremony on November 6.[3] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart, with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 13.[4] The store ultimately closed on March 20, 2016.[5][6]
