Kmart #7077 was a Kmart discount department store located at 1129 Morgan Boulevard in Harlingen, Texas. The store opened on October 14, 1976 as the 58th Kmart in Texas, and one of seven stores to open that day for a total of 1,151 Kmart's overall.[1] In 1989, the store would expand into the former auto center from a Group 7 mini Kmart with the renovations completed on October 12 of that year.[2] In 1999, the store would be converted to Big Kmart with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 13 of that year.[3] The store ultimately closed on December 11, 2016.[4][5]
