Kmart #7230 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 3316 Denton Highway in Haltom City, Texas. The store opened on June 19, 1980.[1] In October 1988, the store was expanded into the former auto center from a Group 7 mini Kmart, with the renovations completed on March 1989.[2] In 1998, the store would be converted to Big Kmart, with a grand re-opening ceremony on August 16 of that year.[3] The store ultimately closed on April 13, 2003.[4][5]
