Kmart #7248 was a Kmart discount department store located at 5701 Broadway Boulevard in Garland, Texas. The store opened on March 8, 1979 as one of 15 stores to open that day for a total of 1,511 Kmart's overall and was tied with four other Texas stores for the 97th Kmart in Texas. The store would later be expanded from a Group 7 mini Kmart, occupying the former auto center area. It was converted to Big Kmart by the end of 1998.
