Kmart 7248

Kmart #7248 was a Kmart discount department store located at 5701 Broadway Boulevard in Garland, Texas.[1] The store opened on March 8, 1979,[2] and was tied with four other Texas stores for the 97th Kmart in Texas. Between 1989 and 1995, the store would expand into the former auto center and be remodeled from a Group 7 mini Kmart. In 1998, the store would be converted to Big Kmart. The store ultimately closed on June 2, 2002.[3][4]
