Kmart #7300 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza 315 South Santa Rosa Avenue in San Antonio, Texas. The store opened on October 19, 1978 as one of the first six Kmart's in the city of San Antonio, one of 13 stores to open that day for a total of 1,472 Kmart's overall, and tied with seven other Texas stores for the 80th Kmart in Texas.[1] The store would later be converted to Big Kmart before ultimately closing on April 13, 2003,[2] and was torn down for the San Antonio Public Safety Headquarters.[3]
