Kmart #7439 was a Kmart discount department store located at West Road Plaza, 10261 North Freeway in Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on November 16, 1992 replacing Kmart 4328 and Kmart 7449,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on November 19.[3] It was part of a Kmart power center with PACE Membership Warehouse 433 and Builders Square 1344.[4] The store would be converted to one of the first 24 Big Kmarts in Texas on November 14, 1997,[5] and closed on April 13, 2003.[6]
