Kmart 7795
Kmart #7795 was a Kmart discount department store located at Westgate Town Center, 4565 South 1st Street in Abilene, Texas.[1] The store opened on February 18, 2000 as Big Kmart,[2] with a formal grand opening ceremony on February 19.[3] It was the replacement store for Kmart 4401. The store ultimately closed on December 11, 2016.[4] Prior to Kmart, the site was previously occupied by S.S. Kresge 701 (later TG&Y 836) and several smaller tenants in the former Westgate Shopping Center.
