A Mervyn's department store was located at LoBue Plaza, 1070 South White Road in San Jose, California. The store opened October 26, 1967 and closed September 30, 1972. Originally A-2-Z. Third Mervyn's store. Replaced by Mervyn's East Shopping Center location. First Mervyn's to close. Later King Little Roller Land, then Disco Encounters, then Skatetown. Shopping center torn down for White Road Plaza in 1985. Site now Rite Aid and several smaller tenants.[1]
