Prange Way, previously known as Prange Budget Center, was an American discount department store chain. Established as a bargain outlet of the H.C. Prange Company department store in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Prange Way stores were primarily located in Wisconsin, with additional locations in Rockford, Illinois and Owatonna, Minnesota. The Prange Budget Center originated as a bargain basement department of the flagship Prange department store in Sheboygan, but the company joined in the trend towards modern big-box discount stores with the opening of its first full-fledged Prange Budget Center in Green Bay in 1962. After acquiring Schultz Family Stores in 1988 and splitting from its parent company in 1990, the chain's plans for further expansion never materialized, the company filed for bankruptcy, and all stores were shut down in 1996.
