Sears #1217 was a Sears department store located at Sunrise Mall, 1305 Airline Road in Corpus Christi, Texas.[1] The store opened on August 8, 1974 replacing Sears 2027, and a branch store at Gulfway Shopping Center.[2] The store would be remodeled 3 times over it's lifetime, first in 1986,[3] again in 1993,[4] and on October 30, 1999.[5] The store closed on December 15, 2019.[6]
