Sears #2347 was a Sears department store located at Galvez Mall, 6300 Broadway Street in Galveston, Texas.[1] The store opened on February 26, 1969 replacing a previous location at Broadway Avenue J,[2] and closed on or around March 17, 1991 when it was replaced by Sears 2197.[3] The building was torn down with the mall in 2001.

The original Sears #2347 was a Sears department store located at 2224 Broadway Avenue J in Galveston, Texas.[4] The store opened on October 17, 1940, replacing a previous location at Tartt Building.[5] In 1949, the store would be enlarged and remodeled, with a grand reopening ceremony on March 10.[6] The store closed on February 20, 1969, when it relocated to Galvez Mall.[7]
