Sears #2427 was a Sears department store located at 711 West Texas Avenue in Baytown, Texas.[1] The store opened on October 5, 1950.[2] In 1971, the store would be remodeled and expanded, with a grand reopening ceremony on March 31.[3] The store closed on February 28, 1981, when it was replaced by Sears 1327.[4]
