Sears #2447 was a Sears department store located at Townshire Shopping Center, 1901 South Texas Avenue in Bryan, Texas.[1] The store opened on July 31, 1958.[2] In 1970, the store would be remodeled and expanded, with a grand reopening ceremony on November 4.[3] The store would be remodeled and expanded again in 1975, with a grand reopening ceremony on March 5.[4] The store closed on February 13, 1982, when it was replaced by Sears 2547.[5]
