Sears Grand

Sears Grand was a brand of Sears department stores which combined the company's typical selection of appliances and clothing with a selection of convenience items including food and toiletries. The first Sears Grand opened in 2003 in West Jordan, Utah. After Sears merged with Kmart in 2005, some Kmart locations were converted to the Sears Grand format. The attempt to add new categories of products to Sears stores was unsuccessful, and some stores were converted to a more typical department store format while still retaining the Sears Grand name and branding. The last remaining Sears Grand store, in Rancho Cucamonga, California, closed in 2021.
