Target T-161, also known as Steeplechase, was a Target discount department store located at Steeplechase Center, 10701 Jones Road in Houston, Texas.[1] The store opened on or around July 22, 1982 as the 14th Target in the Houston area, followed by a formal grand opening ceremony on July 26.[2] The store closed on or around October 3, 2006, when it was replaced by Target T-2144.[3]
