Target T-173, also known as Vance Jackson, was a Target discount department store located at 2643 Northwest Loop 410 in San Antonio, Texas. The store opened on February 23, 1983 as one of the first six Targets in the San Antonio area, and one of 15 stores to open that day for a total of 38 Target's in Texas, and 182 Target's overall. A formal grand opening ceremony was held on February 28.[1] The store closed March 4, 2003 when it was replaced by Target T-1523,[2] and was ultimately torn down for Academy Sports + Outdoors 47.[3]
