Target T-174, also known as Marbach, was a Target discount department store located at Westlakes Mall, 8215 Marbach Road in San Antonio, Texas.[1] The store opened on February 23, 1983, followed by a formal grand opening ceremony on February 28.[2] It was one of the first six Targets in the San Antonio area, and one of 15 stores to open that day for a total of 38 Targets in Texas, and 182 overall. In 1995, the store would be remodeled to P93.[3] The store closed on or around October 4, 2005, when it was replaced by Target T-1979. The building was torn down for H-E-B 613.[4]
